Alex's Story
I'd never used a personal trainer before Anita, and I'm so glad she was the one to set the standard. I started working with her at a difficult moment in my life - I had several personal problems at that time, and I was putting on weight and getting less fit. I was also feeling quite vulnerable about my body as a result, and reluctant to try new things for fear of failures that would just seem like further reasons to be depressed. So I was quite a lot to take on.
Anita was brilliant. She listened, she worked out routines for me that built up progressively in difficulty, and she was supportive and encouraging throughout. I trusted her, and she gently got me to do things I would never have done on my own, like bring in boxing moves as part of my fitness programme. My weight went down, my fitness went up, and I even enjoyed the time we spent together. For a man who has always hated most forms of exercise and who was in a really difficult headspace at the time, this was quite some achievement on her part.
I moved away from the area before meeting all my fitness goals, so I had to look for someone else to train with once I settled in my new place. I did find others who helped me, I'm glad to say, but Anita was my lucky first example of how to be a great personal trainer and I now won't take anything less. I heartily recommend her. She's really, really good.

I have found Anita to be an excellent personal trainer in every way. When I started my sessions with Anita I had not been to a personal trainer before and was just doing my own thing at a local gym. Anita is a hugely professional, kind person with whom I clicked immediately. Anita’s gym is very well equipped and she makes training fun and keeps me motivated with a varied programme. Personal training has not only increased my physical fitness, resilience and confidence but has had a positive impact on my mental health helping to reduce stress and anxiety.
